There really is something for everyone in and around Bicheno. The Bicheno Golf Club is a flat, but challenging 9-hole, part 36 course in a beautiful setting. In the town centre (5 minutes' walk) there are tennis courts which can be hired. Kayaks and bicycles can also be hired in the town.

Fishing tours are available and for those keen to scuba dive, the Bicheno Dive Centre offers scuba diving lessons and equipment hire. There is great snorkelling in Waub's Bay. Take a look at Underwater at Bicheno to see what you might see. For classic surf head to Redbill Beach. Waub's Bay usually has smaller waves for the younger family members. There's a blow hole on the eastern side of the town.

Bicheno is very family-friendly. The local wildlife park displays fauna such as Tasmanian devils, wombats, possums, kangaroes and parrots. Directly over the road from Bicheno Bella Vista is the Sea Life Centre, where you can taste delicious local food and wine. There are two National Parks nearby. Douglas Apsley is just 5-10 minutes away. Freycinet National Park is within a 25-minute drive.
